Wings without feathers

Ever since I was a little kid I have been fascinated with the concept of flying. I couldn't understand how something so big could fly as high and as freely as a bird... I can vividly remember getting on a plane for the first time at 14. It was love at first flight! It’s difficult to explain whether the feeling was of greatness or smallness. In a way, I looked at the world through the eyes of an outsider. Flying allows my thoughts to drift beyond the horizon as I see things from a broader perspective. I remember when it was time for me to go to college, I told my mother that I wanted to join the military Airforce, wanting to take my love for flight to the next level. But being her oldest and having to watch over my younger siblings, she somehow convinced me to set those dreams aside. Chances of that happening now are slim to none, however it remains one of my life goals to learn how to fly and experience this feeling inside the cockpit.

As i was perusing in santa monica, looking for a good spot to have lunch, i stumbled upon this private airpot flight training. I stopped by, chatted with the guys for at least 30 minutes, picking their brains. And there's no way I wasn't gonna have a photoshoot there, lol.
